My Anxiety Wasn’t Real: One Woman’s Experience with Mental Disorder

Studies show that five percent of Americans are medically misdiagnosed in a given year, and that most Americans will be misdiagnosed at least once in their lifetime. It could happen to you, and it did happen to me. In My Anxiety Wasn’t Real, I describe how I was diagnosed with anxiety and was treated for it for nearly a year with no relief from my symptoms. That’s because I had been misdiagnosed – and you’ll be as shocked as I was to discover what the problem really was!

The eBook will be released on Wednesday, September 27th, and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon. It is being offered for the low introductory price of $0.99 and may also be read for FREE with Kindle Unlimited.

Have you had a similar experience of being misdiagnosed with anxiety? Let me know in the comments below – I’d love to hear your story, too!

Just picked up a copy of your book and sent one to a friend. As the son of a doctor, I’ve always been sort of a hypochondriac (best way to see dad is to get sick)… been misdiagnosed many times. The worst one though was when I really was deathly ill with a fever over 100 for a month, a terrible cough and swollen glands in my lungs. I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease and then TB and later they just decided they didn’t know what it was, and we all just waited to see if I would die. After three months, I got well, and no one could explain that either.
