Here’s What’s on Top of My Christmas Tree – What’s on Yours?

I’m helping Angela and Hugh raise up to £250 for charity by sharing what’s on top of my Christmas tree! This year blogger Hugh Roberts and his “special lady” Angela have committed to donating £1 for each comment or pingback to Angela and Hugh’s Christmas Tree Topper Challenge. You can check out all of the entries here, but first let me show you my Christmas tree topper:

That’s right – I have my very own Abominable Snow Monster! For years now he’s been coming by once a year in order to place a star on top of my tree. Is it wrong that this is my favorite part of Christmas? I’m neither very sentimental nor very religious, but somehow seeing the Abominable hovering at the top of my tree fills me with… well, I guess you’d have to call it Christmas spirit. So what’s on the top of your Christmas tree?

Hi Lori, you can still join in my charity challenge by writing a post about the best thing that has happened to you during 2014 and link it back to my original post. So please do join in if you get a chance over the holiday period as the challenge is open until January 5th. Many thanks, Hugh

Best tree topper ever! Thanks for letting me know of this terrific event, too through your post. I joined you and Geoff Le Pard with a tiger on Elmira Pond. Wow–guess angels are afraid to stand on top of our trees! :-)

Hi Lori, thank you so much for joining in with our Christmas Tree Topper challenge. We’ve never seen an abominable snowman on top of a Christmas tree before, so this is a first for Angela and me. We think he looks great on top of your tree especially as he is holding a star.
Thank you once again and please do continue to let people know about the challenge so that Angela and I can make our target of £250 by Twelfth night.
    Merry Christmas to you.
