Promotional Site – Free Kindle Books and Tips

My memoir is up today on Free Kindle Books and Tips:

From what I hear, this is supposed to be one of the better promotional sites. As to how the resulting sales are going, so far, so good, but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed ;)

      I actually wasn’t even going to post it, but the guy running the site very politely requests a link back, so I thought I should. It is the best one I’ve done so far – judging by the spike in sales, I basically broke even on the ad and now seem to be enjoying a small but measurable increase in the aftermath. I am keeping track of the results of the various promotions in the hopes of eventually being able to present some usable data – that’s info I think we’d all like to have :)

        That’s great to know Lori, that’s why I asked. I’m always interested in knowing about successful promos. I will be looking into it. Incidentally, an author friend had recommended booksends.com to me and I just used them for first time and had great success! Happy to share back. :)

        Thanks for the info – I’ll check them out! I’m definitely finding that getting the scoop from other authors is vital when it comes to these promotional sites. There are just so many of them out there, and most don’t seem to pay off very well. I’ve found the Goodreads Author Feedback Group to be extremely helpful in this regard – people will actually post the results from their giveaways, Countdown Deals, etc. so that you can get a real feel for the numbers. Highly recommend joining if you haven’t already :)
